Is silver ion technology safe for my skin?

How long does the antimicrobial protection last?
Unlike topical sprays or treatments, our silver ions are bonded directly into the fiber structure at the molecular level. This means the antimicrobial protection lasts throughout the lifetime of your towel, typically hundreds of wash cycles without diminishing effectiveness.
How should I wash my SILVION towel?
Machine wash in cold with similar colors and mild detergent. Do not bleach or iron, and avoid fabric softeners as they can coat the fibers and reduce absorbency. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. The silver ion technology is wash-resistant and will maintain its effectiveness through normal washing.
Will the towel fade over time?
Our premium dye process is specifically designed for fade resistance. When following proper care instructions, your SILVION towel will maintain its rich color and appearance through extensive use and washing.
